Meet Jasmine…
A singer, dancer and actress, Jasmine Chandler’s first big theatre experience was when she was just four years old, opening the show at the Westcliff Theatre, Clacton for a local theatre production company.
A mainstay in theatre productions ever since, Jasmine has continued to develop her vocal talent and dance, attaining leading roles in some of the most recognised theatrical performances on stage today.
Biography
Trained in dance, singing and stage performing, Jasmine has been performing on the big stage since the age of four.
She is highly motivated when it comes to following her dreams and supremely dedicated to her end goal; a career in West End theatre productions.

Jasmine received the Jack Petchey award for performing in 2023 and is proud to have worked with established actors, singers and stage performers such as John Altmann (Eastenders), Linda Nolan (The Nolan Sisters), Graham Cole (The Bill), Basil Brush (yes, really!) and many more.
She has diverse taste in music and draws inspiration from artists of today and yesteryear, with her main area of interest being musical theatre. In fact, some would say it was written in the stars. Jasmine’s first word was ABBA!

Jasmine is a lovely, positive girl with amazing passion and a wonderful singing voice that is worthy of any leading role.
Jasmine had such presence and energy in her dancing and a very good singing voice. She interacted well with the audience and had an easy banter with Oliver as they worked together preshow. A good rapport with the rest of the cast.
She had a very expressive face and an eager, friendly manner. A bit of a goody goody, Taylor gave the impression that nothing happens at school without her being aware and involved. Her sweet and kind nature shone through as she befriends the new girl.
The best singer was Miss Honey [Jasmine Chandler]. She sang immaculately and touchingly throughout, it almost made me tear up.
Fat Sam was incredible for someone so young. Her mannerisms and characterisation were just like the Bugsy Malone movie and she was a standout in a very good cast. Fantastic show, well done!

Upcoming Performance: SIX Teen Edition
Jasmine will take to the big stage again shortly, playing Katherine Howard in SIX The Musical Teen Edition. Also part producing the show, SIX marks a two year long venture and a dream role for her.
Recent Performance: High School Musical
Jasmine successfully auditioned for the role of Taylor McKessie and performed High School Musical over two days on 22-23 August 2025.
Recent Performance: SEEA 2024
Jasmine and the girls from Tendring Dance House Academy were the recipients of the golden buzzer from the South East Entertainment Awards 2024 and will be performing at the O2 Arena, London this November.
